Residential Mold Remediation

This finished basement had a water damage caused from a leaking basement window. The water was soaking into the insulation and drywall for an unknown period of time. We had to remove all wet drywall, baseboard trim, carpet and pad from the affected areas. We also needed to clean all contents in the basement. During our initial visual inspection, a 2 foot high area of the drywall in this section had to be removed, and then dry and clean the wood studs. While we were working and cleaning some wall hangings, we noticed additional discoloration higher up on the walls. It was necessary to remove this additional piece of drywall. These are pictures of the space after the wall hangings were removed, and then after the removal of the drywall, the studs were dry and sealed.
